Well... the quest for the diesel Vanagon grail continues. I may have found a gas Westie to my liking, so I may take that step and then ponder the diesel issue as a follow on.

This particular Westie is a nice find, no rust, amenable seller (willing to let me take it for a couple days to check it out, etc.). BUT! it has the most god awful paint job that I have ever seen.

What should I expect for cost to have the whole thing stripped down and then repainted? It really is that bad. They painted it with a paint brush and latex paint.
