All right! Due to the extraordinarily large amount of pmail to my address over the past 2.5 hours, I WILL explain how Marcus got #1 & Joel got #2 at the HOGS/DOGS/VW VANS HUNT of 1997!!!

Marcus, as it is well known, got 1st place due to his gorgeous coon-skin/hair upholstery in his Vangagon.

JOEL, though, didn't even need a Vanagon to win 2nd place! He showed up in spandex briefs with about 400 coon-tails pinned to them + one delightful coon-skin hat & a really neat looking pair of coon-boots & a .780 Barker black-powder flintlock!!!!!!! The judges, from what I found out, decided that the two Texans, who, between them, were responsible for the demise of at least 900 coons, HAD to win! Choosing between them was tough, but Joel's audaciousness was duly noted and he was voted in to a life-time membership in the He-Coon Club, even though he only took only 2nd Place! Marcus has a chance, this year.

BOB - He-Coon #26
