Subject:      Trip midwest: any VW bus/vanagon or Diesel places not to miss?

I'm going on a trip to Wisconsin the next couple of weeks. Leaving
from Rochester NY on Tue next week. Plan is to drive on or in the
vincinity of I90, I80 and then up north to Rhinelander Wisconsin.
This takes me though NY, a piece of PA, Ohio, Indiana, a piece
of IN, and Wisconsin. On the way back I might go through Michigan and
Ontario.

I'd appreciate any tips on VW bus/vanagon or VW Diesel junk
yards or other interesting sights on the way.
