Subject: Lug nuts off!
Comments: To: "Vanagon@VANAGON.COM" <Vanagon@VANAGON.COM>

Thanks to all of you who responded to my lug nut problem. I put on a 19mm deep socket that my neighbor supplied only to strip the nut into a perfect circle. I then put some air in tire and headed to the only place open on Sunday. Pep Boys. ughhh. Yes, after 2 1/2 hours sitting in the parking lot they finally cut it off and put in a new stud. Those things were on tight!!! I waited far enough away as I watched the sparks from that little saw flying all over the place, including near the propane tank. All these "mechanics" (my mechanic friend calls those type of guys "parts replacers") were smoking cigarettes in the garage too!

Bryan
