Hey folks... Trying to split the case today on my 87GL. Guess you should take the 3-belt pulley off before you drop the engine. Any suggestions on how to get that bolt off. I'm using a 30mm socket and a 18" breaker bar.... I don't have the tool that the Bentley suggests you get...

Any chance that this is a Left-Handed bolt? Am I that stupid? Didn't notice anything about that in the Bentley. What do you run into if you crack the case and leave the pulley and the clutch in place? Or can you... it looks like there is a case bolt under the flywheel??

So should I put a big piece o pipe on my breaker bar and get my fat friend to sit on the engine or what?

Any suggestions more than welcome! These are such beautiful cars... I really need to keep this one going.
