Subject: Lubricant for (1984) Westy Pop Top Hinge - Suggestions?
Comments: To: vanagon@VANAGON.COM

My owner's manual says: (under a picture of the hinged portion of the roof) "The hinge pins on the strut supports of the pop-up roof should be lightly oiled from time to time.."

With WHAT lubricant? I'm a little worried about some goopy oily stuff getting all over my NEW canvas. Any suggestions?

See you all on the road, Marty Wallace (1984 Westy "Heisenberg") Chico, California
