David, When mine did that, I went to a local electrical supplier and got 4 metal clamps that are designed to hold small wire to walls (ie: phone wire during construction) and used the existing screws with these "tabs" to hold it in place. Probably available at Radio Shack. I'm not sure of a good way to describe them but I'll try. 1/2 " wide, 3/4 " long, flat on the end with the mounting hole, and curved on the other end to originally hold a 1/8" wire against a flat surface. They have worked wonderfully for me and I never give them a second thought. If your the type that recognizes that pop cans make good shim material this should solve your problem.
