Max While stationed in Italy and driving my 1983.5 vanagon. I found that the locals were really into the waving thing.Seems everywhere I drove in that van, which by the way was must bigger than most of the auto there.They had this special kind of wave. They would flip the back of their hand up their throat and extent the arm in an up ward position.I never did get the hang of that wave.:>) Marcus
