Hello. I don't know where to go with this but I figured you may be able to help get the word out. My name is Mark and I recently had a rebuild installed by California Bug Works in Fairfield CA. He used a GEX rebuild. Since the installation I have had $170 in incidentals and a new air flow meter $150 used). The engine has never stopped leaking. Bob Bell the owner replaced several seals and now the engine leak is minimal. (But for $2,500 do I want a leak?!!). Shortly after the repair while on vacation in Washington a mechanic found the cable to the starter had not been connected with a nut causing a dying sensation. Bob claimed he never removed the harness ( which is recommended by the haynes manual?). Most recently , after Bob replaced the seals, my local mechanic had to set the timeing from 30 atdc to the recommended 5 btdc. Bob asked if I thought he had set it at 30 degrees, and said he is through dealing with me and will see me in court. GEX will not warranty against heat damage so I feel as though my warranty is worthless. Any ideas.

Thanks in advance Mark Trent mtrent1@pacbell.net
