Fuel gauge not working? Pretend you don't have one and use the trip meter. At 300 miles I start looking for a diesel filling station. At 350 miles I start squirming like my daughter needs potty. Our fuel gauge sticks at the 1/2 point too. Usually, it frees up after some good sloshing, but to me, it is not worth the trouble to fix at this time.
