Sender: Axel Franke Date: 22. April 1998 00:26 Concern: TDI installation
rear all T3-Freaks.
TDI installation in T3 is actually no large problem. There are two possibilities: 1. There their a complete conversion kit (e.g. Hann / Schoemberg or Winkler/herne) participate all necessary sections could buy, including appraisals are important that you a complete TDI engine inclusive. Gaspedal(el. with potentiometer), engine expensive device and wiring harness as well as exhaust system with Kat have. A battle or an accident vehicle would be thus quite good.....
2. You take even into the hand: the 4-Zyl. TDI fits to the Diesel transmission by the T3, built must still the engine mounting plates, modifications at exhaust system, and evtl. Flywheel. Further must el. Accelerotor pedal and Steuergaraet to be inserted and verkabelt. Oil pan and oil pump are taken over by normal Diesel. The whole is quite much fummelei; to the Tuev acceptance comparison vehicle is not bad (there no appraisal...).
I think that one comes with the offered conversion kits better clearly.
Greeting to all T3-ler,
Axel
