I like the idea of wiring a trickle charger into the 120vac westy wiring to charge the battery(ies) when pluged into shore power.

I'm looking at getting a "Battery Tender" which has auto shut-off, and my question it this. Do I need to wire this directly to the battery terminals? Or can I just splice it anywhere into the 12v westy wiring?

Thanks, Todd '88 Westy
