Subject: '80 Westy water problems

I bought a 1980 Westy Basic Camper last week and am mostly thrilled with it. However, when I hooked upa water hose to the city water connection, none of the water got to the sink, It all just drained out the bottom of the van, and not through the part where it's supposed to drain out!

So, I removed the city water connection panel to have a look inside, and when I pulled on it a hose that wasn't attached to anything at the other end came out. It had a threaded end as though it should attatch to something, but simply wasn't.

I looked around inside the cabinet under the sink and couldn't find anyplace that looked like it was in want of this hose. I quizzed the PO who hadn't owned it long and he said that he'd never used the city water connection, it must have been something the previous previous owner had done.

So my question is this--What should this hose be attached to and how do I go about making that attachment?

thanks, mac _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com
