Now that the list is back and we get over our withdrawal symptoms or the
breather from lots of email we can start theorizing what really happened.

My theory is that Gerry (the server) got soaked in Gin by Ron alias Coyote
(the operator) in training for Burning Man. Gerry responded with hangover
and refused to face all of us.

But that's just me.
