I had the little peep-hole plastic thing missing on one of my vans and the fridge did NOT work. When I took the fridge out, I found that the little plastic peep-hole thing had melted over the flame hole and that was the problem. Worked fine after that without the plastic thing. I could still see the flame from under the fridge (at night). Always good to take out the fridge for a good cleaning. Maybe your plastic thing is just laying on the floor back there????

Good luck, Malcolm S > >If the "combustion chamber" in the Dometic is supposed to be sealed, how is >it that you (are supposed to) see the flame through the little hole in the >left rear floor of the fridge?
