Hi Volks,

I have a few items from my adventurewagon that you may like for your own:

AWNING: Catalina 2500 by dometic 9" 10" Originally sold by Camping World for 375 with van adaptors. Just like new. Yours for $150.00

SCREENS: Magnetic to fit side windows, and rear hatch. Also have universal screen for slider door. Good condition $50.00/set

BENTLEY MANUAL: Covers Vanagon air, water cooled and diesel years 1980 through 1984(really 85 also) Condition:well read, and full of pertinent emails $25.00

REAR HEATER assembly and housing condition unknown, good for parts $25.00

MICROFICHE: Set of service microfilms dated 1989 i don't know much about these, but the first 5 bucks takes 'em.

Bike rack: This rack fits the rear door of the van, but holds two bikes like a roof rack would:vertically with the front wheel off. Thus, no banging or scratching. Easy on and off door will open with rack in place. Manufacturer:Enflight. Your price: 45.00 (Ihave two). I have never seen a vehicle that this quality rack will not fit. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Of course, this all means my beautiful 1984 Adventurewagon, fully equipped, including the three batterey system, american A/C, indoor solar shower, purified water, et all is no more. My Vanagonitis became chronic, it let me down for the last time. The dealer had to pry my hands from the steering wheel, but the extraction of my body from the van is complete. I'll miss her like I'd miss any other siren. So compelling, but so indifferent and harsh. I'm sure I'll go to hell, for the Japanese have me now.

But I'll always remember my little daughter's first camping trip ever- with the Calif. Camping Crazies. Can you say "don't stare at the magnesium fire"?

I loved that van...

Please email me if you are interested in these bargains. I can ship the small stuff, but the awning requires pick up. I live (if you call driving a japanese minivan living...)in the San Francisco bay area.
