Rob, Is your tire pressure decal at driver side door jamb missing like mine? You need 36psi (cold) at front and 40psi at rear for the Syncro, IF YOU HAVE THE VW RECOMMENDED 205/70 R 14 REINFORCED TIRES. To me, different tires may need different air pressure depends on their design and the load range. Check the sidewall to make sure the air pressure does not exceed the maximum psi allowed.
