I noticed the same problem at the faucet when "city" water is hooked up and the switch is moved from "city" to "off" to "tank." I could see bubbles and water moving backwards in the tank line from the faucet. Also, when moving from "off" to "tank" and back I could see backflow with bubbles from the faucet towards the tank. Maybe there are some seals in the faucet that are worn or just old.-- David Bogle
