Didn't BMW do the same thing with their 5.0L 850 the first year it came out? They put two fuel injection systems together from a 540 or something like that... it didn't work very well. But... if the engine was sitting in my garage and a spare vanagon was sitting there... you bet I would get two rabbit systems and throw it in there!
