When I bought my 87 GL for $1800 I knew it had a leaky pushrod tube and was typically an easy fix. I ordered a collapsable pushrod tube and seals from the BD. However, when you do not place the pushrod in the center of the lifter bad things can happen and they did. It totaled out a entire lifter and pushrod ! So I got the lifter removed over the Labor Day holiday and ordered the new ones on Tuesday from the BD. I recieved the replacement lifter, pushrod and tube from BD on Saturday (THANKS RON !) and put back together with the greatest of care.

My 87 GL Vanagon lives !!

Thanks to all !
