Hello,

I'm seriously considering importing a Canadian EV, a 92, true westy conversion. Our fellow listee, Kelly Bauman, was kind enough to check it out for us, saving us the trip from Seattle.

It appears to be mechanically well cared-for, but the interior was less than primo. Kelly caught the scent of a deodorizer, and up in the poptop, he picked up the unmistakable stench of one of our least favorite bodily odors: urine.

I assume we can replace the mattress pad. My husband is afraid the smell may have leached into the underside of the poptop itself, or otherwise infiltrated the interior.

Does anybody out there have any experience with this?

thanks, christine
