People of Vanagon!

Since I don't have any tapes, and I am tired of Radio Roulette (with the exception of NPR) I am swapping out the H'berg Cassette player for something that will play more current media.

How do you get the #$@% thing out of the dash? What can I expect from a 91 Westy Syncro wiring harness and antenna that's lurking behind the dash?

I am installing a 4x40 watt device. Given that, I am assuming that the stock speaker's days are numbered. How does one go about getting the door panels off without breaking anything? The Westy has power windows, locks (not affected by this, I hope), and mirrors. Will the stock holes take a 5.25 inch speaker?

Thank you. We now return you to your normally scheduled program.

Robyn Rudisill 91 Westy Syncro
