Hi Folks, I'm getting mixed reports on whether the 1988 alum./plastic (??) vanagon radiator can be rodded. Some say it can't be done, some say it can be done (no problem ...), some say it can be done, but the seals aren't available, and some say "why bother" because they rarely need it anyway (due to 'corrosion-free' alum./plastic construction). All of the radiator shops I've talked to say thay can at least flush it out with compressed air and water. Anyone out there actually got their radiator rodded? Or just flushed (blasted?). Thanks, Dick Myers '88 Westy '78 Westy |
