Yes, it's that time of year again. You Wasserleakers can hit delete now, I'm going to talk about heat in an AC '81 Vanangon.

Ok, I put the heat on full, defrost and hot air comes out the top vents. However, cool air blows out below, on my feet. Is this leakage from the fresh air vent, or is that system seperate from the heat? On my old bus, they were the same, and putting plastic wrap on the fresh air ducts (on the outside) kept the cold air out. It seems like it is different on a Vanagon, though.

I played around with the adjustments on the cables a bit, and the amount of cool air seems proportional with the engine speed, so I figured it may be a problem in the heat ducts themselves, but couldn't see anything.
