Try removing the black plastic cap and underneath that the nut and washer at the hub of the wiper arm. The arm should then come off. Mine had become a little loose and stripped right there. I cleaned out all the serrations on the driving piece which were filled with the softer metal of the arm and screwed the arm back on tight. Works fine.
