I have a 1985 westy and the temp light flashes until the temp gauge is in the center of its range. I have shorted across the temp wires and it flashes until the engine temp gauge is in the center of its range. The bentley shows a COOL LOW LVL WRNG CNTRL UNIT but I do not know where it is located. That is the next part that I will check.

Thanks Steve
