Subject: 84 Westy Driver Door Leak ? Or maybe a flood ?
Comments: To: Vanagon@VANAGON.COM
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Hi all,

When it rains hard water accumulates inside my driver door and runs out the manual vent at the bottom corner near the back of the seat and proceeds to make its way into the second battery compartment. I replaced the weatherstripping around the window but that did not work. Is the door window supposed to leak ? Is there a drain at the bottom of the door somewhere that may be plugged causing water to build up to the point that it overflows into the interior? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Doug Smith. 84 Westy
