WHY??? Because I'm insecure about my manhood obviously!!! ;)

Actually, there are more reasons than you might think.

First, the G60 supercharger has a high amount of failures, the VR6 is more dependable.

Second, the G60 has lower torque, and is really doesn't take off untill 3000 RPM. That power lag is very annoying.

The VR6 is smoother, and has better acceration through the gears. The shifter on the VR6 is better too. The G60 is notchy, the VR6 is smooth and positive. And, NO, they're not interchangable.

The VR6 is simply a better engine.

But the G60 is a VERY good engine, and if a VR6 hadn't fallen into my lap, I would be happy with it. It sure beats the 102 hp of the original engine.

The road I commute on in the winter is uphill on the way to work. It's a 2 lane with only 3 short passing zones, and lots of very slow (under the speed limit) drivers on it. I need all the power I can GET.

But having said that, while I appreciate having the power, I don't abuse it. I'd make a GREAT dictator. Generally I drive within a few miles an hour over the speed limit, I've gotten over my adolescent NEED to SPEED.

James

Ummm, would you happen to know where I can get a surplus catapult? ;)
