Could you give us more details about this AC recall?  What model year it
involved?  Does it replace "whole" AC unit?  These information should be on
your recall notice.

1986 Syncro GL - Regretably For Sale . . .

Oh, a funny side note first.  I just received an official "Factory
Recall" for this 86 Syncro.  A call to the dealer informed me that VOA
realizes a problem with the air conditioning unit and they will
replace it FREE of charge.  How funny, maybe VOA should realize that
the head gasket fiascio is the biggest design flaw and air
conditioning is really random and unimportant in comparison.  Anyway,
the AC recall is valid until December 1999.
