-- [ From: John H. Rodgers * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- Lost my mind that is!!! Gone is the Bronze Bomb....my trusted '85 GL with the 200,000 Plus miles on it. I am now the proud owner of a Red 1988 Vanagon GL sporting 71,000 miles. And it has a center seat and Air Conditioning that would freeze a Halibut ( I came from Alaska). Thanks to all who were trying to find lug nuts and exhaust braces for an '85 GL. Don't need-um. I am thrilled to be sure and over the next few weeks will be working out the bugs, and fixing little things, but basically I am real happy about this new machine. First time to operate a Vanagon with a 2.1L in it. Open to any suggestions as to ways to check up on it and to tweak performance, both on the engine and the body. Thanks. John Rodgers Now an '88 GL driver. -- |
