Buy the syncro !!! ...if you'll drive offroad (or on snow). I've just changed from 1983 diesel to 1988 syncro (turbo diesel).I've been driving offroad in the Alps with both, could'not imagine where I'm now able to go with my Syncro (now waiting for winter!).
