On the advice of many listmembers I have just purchased (5) Michelin MXT 205/70R14 tires from what must be the least expensive source, Costco (even including the $40 membership fee.) I called many dealers in NYC several of which checked with their Michelin distributor and quoted me prices from $96 to $102/ea plus installation. As specifically suggested by... well I can't find the post now...but he was in the northwestern US and went to several Costco stores to finally find one who would call Michelin (like they all do everyday) to order the MXTs. Thanks for the encouragement and item nos! Item #73568 (Costco #66044) My confidence definitely helped Henry make the call.

As previously stated, MXTs allow 1709 lbs max load 50 psi max pressure.

Bottom line: $78.99 ea + $7/wheel to install and balance. Additionally, instead of paying Costco .50/tire to take the old ones, I sold them to one of the many "flat fix" shops on 4th Avenue for $20/set.
