Subject: Skinny on Eurospec Oil system

Some people have been asking questions about what the oil pan on the Eurospec motor is like and wondering if they had somehow taken into account that the motor was tilted and if not, "Oh my, the motor will be starved for oil!" Well I talked to the folks there again today and happened to ask about the oil setup. I was told that the oil pan is the same one (or similar) to that of a diesel Vanagon and that they also utilized the longer oil pickup tube. I was also told that they have been driving thier "test" vans around for about 2 years now with no problems. So there you are. All of those folks who didn't sleep last night because they were wondering about this oil setup, you may now sleep soundly tonight. If you have any other questions let me know and I'll ask the next time I call them. Ken Wilford John 3:16
