But of course. :-) You a few choices. The most expensive way is to use a stock system, which consists of a crossover pipe, cat, muffler, and tailpipe. Assuming your Vanagon is not California emissions (that is, the cat faces left to right, not front to rear), this whole system is $479 including the CAT; expensive but well made. If you are fortunate enough not to have emissions testing where you live, you can put on a stock '72-'74 bus exhaust instead, which is equally high quality and only $169.95, but will not accept a CAT. This system was sold as a Vanagon exhaust system in countries that did not require a CAT. It also will not take the stock EGR valve so you'll have to disconnect it. Finally, you can put on an Empi aftermarket extractor system, which does take the EGR but still not the CAT, for only $89.95. That one is a case of you-get-what-you-pay-for, though, and the $169 system will far outlast the $89 one if you can spring for the difference.
