Folks,

What a lucky stab. I pulled these guys out the yellow pages. When I called them they actually had seen a 91 Syncro Vanagon before, even though they admitted that it wasn't recently. (You must understand that this is by far more than the only VW dealer in Omaha can say. Stan Olsen VW tried to convince me that EV's were discont'd in 93, but they had an nice "DOH! dge" caravan that I could look at...)

They are good VW mechanics. Pricey, but what can I say. I am a guy who doesn't do his own mechanic'n (a recognized limit, which my vanagon thanks me for daily).

If some one could point to the url to add good VW shops to I would be glad to add this there.
