Greetings list,

Well I looked for the achieves as a link on Vanagon.com but no luck. So I'll ask for the location and describe my problem also.

The door locks began erratic operation about a month ago. First thing was when locking the driver's door, either key or from inside, the locks would actuate and then unlock.

Then the passenger door would not lock, but the others would.

Now no action at all.

Symptoms.

The drivers door will lock, but will not actuate any other locks, including the rear hatch.

The passenger door lock will not move, it feels like a heavy spring is holding it in the unlocked position.

The rear hatch is locked and will not manually unlock.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller 91 Carat "Lazarus"
