I recently had the system recharged. About 3 weeks later the system went down and my first thought was a leak in the system. Back to the dealer I go to verify that they indeed did a pressure check on the system. They checked it again and said that it is sealed. They felt it was an electrical problem and any further diagnosis would be chargeable. I manually jumped the lowpressure switch and on came the compressor! So, bad switch right? Unfortunately the best price so far is $110.00 for this switch(ouch). If I have proper pressure in the system and my compressor is working what damage could be done if I physically jump this low pressure switch? All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Willie
