Fellow Listees

Does anyone on the list have any experience with the interior foam air filter that is on the passenger side - in the rear window as a louver.

I have a 89 Westfalia and behind the rear curtain, just above the rear winshield fluid filler cap, there is a foam filter located in the window louver. Mine is pretty crudded up and I would like to rinse it or wash it to clean it.

Is there a trick or set of screws to remove to get this filter out?

Thanks,

Joel Cort 89 Syncro GL Westy "Cinnabar"
