99.9% cause of fire was your old, cracked, long overdue for replacement, fuel injection high pressure hose blew out, and sprayed your hot engine with gasoline... change those hoses and rubber fuel lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, and a industrial sized fire extinguisher under the back seat doesn't hurt, either.... chris

We're rebuilding an '85 Westy engine (me and Ken Wilford) going to replace fuel line... but I've heard that the short 1" connection between the actual injector and the injector manifold (i don't know what to call it) needs special crimping.

I'd like to replace ALL the fuel line if possible. Any ideas?

- Wil

PS - the engine is coming from AVP and I'd like to say that they've been very helpful with all the details. Thanks Erin!
