I was forced to sell my 1985 Westy last week-My wife said it was costing to much to keep. Anyway, I advertised it in the Dallas Morning News for $8500 OBO. It was a very nice Westy. During the first few days I had it advertised I had received calls from two DORKS who said that they thought my Westy was only worth $5000-5500. No, they were not calling to offer me $5000-5500 for my Westy-they only wanted to tell me what they thought it was worth. All this WITHOUT seeing my Westy. Where do these people get off telling someone what there vehicle worth without even seeing it? Anyway, I sold my Westy within a week for $7000. As the person who brought it realized there are very few nice Westies out there-at least in the North Texas area. Just my $.02 worth. John P. Plano, TX |
