I just filled the tank on my '80 Westy while it was parked on a surface sloped slightly to the left. After filling up, I leaned down under the van to look things over, as has become my habit. Much to my alarm I found a small amount of fuel dripping from the area to the rear of the gas tank/ front of the aux. heater. So, I didn't go where I was about to go--an hour and half of driving. I turned around and went home. First question--is the van safe to drive in this condition? Would it make a difference if I didn't fill the tank all the way up? Where should I start looking for the leak? Gas tank? Heater? Some kind of connective stuff? If it is the gas tank am I looking at replacing the whole thing or is there some way to "patch" it? thanks, mac _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
