Hey again,

Okay, if anyone read my previous message (someone did I know) I am performing my first "brake job." I think I confused some of you with the previous, but........that's what ya get from now folks. Anyway, changing the brake pads is easy enough, I got that part down. The problem part is removing the "brake disc." I want to get it grinded (turned) to get all the ruts/grooves out. My question: Is it correct to remove the grease cap and unscrew the axle nut with washer and wheel bearing to get this brake disc off to get serviced. Am I going in the right direction, it seems to me that I am, but not having worked on this before I just want to make sure before I cause some grave, and possible costly fo pa!!!!!!

any imput helps as most of the guru's of our vans live in this area oh by the way I am doing this on an '88 van

jon
