For those who like to know: The two marks on the left of the temp scale correspond to 55 and 60Celcius. The middle one (red LED) is 90C, and the right temp. On my westy it stays right at the LED. My Quantum some times creeps up just past the LED. The Quantum is a Turbo (creates more heat) and I think there may be some crud in the cooling system as well. Time for a flush!

With a TD you should idle it a while before shutting down, so it gets a chance to cool down. After a highway run I do this with the Westy as well.
