I believe in reinforcing the forward edge of that bed so that a 200lb person can sit in it without the bed seeming to be ready to break. Angle Iron.

I also believe a pillow is a terrible thing to lose down that hatch. I added an additional panel up there because I am so tall--6' 2"--so that the bed is now big enough for me.
