Howdy all, Good job Gary on helping Montana "Billings" list member Bill.

I saw an ad in yesterdays Salt Lake Tribune. It was a 1983 Westy with a 2.6 V6. Yep, thats what I said also. I called. It is an 83 westy in great shape. Has 91K on the body and camper etc. The person said it had a Mustang 2.6 L engine put in about 1.5 years ago. Anyone know much about this engine replacement?? They were asking $4700. They are selling because they bought a boat and are consolidating vehicles. It has Stove, sink fridge and it said floor furnace. Thats all I know. If anyone is interested I could get the number. I left it at work. Also they said that this installation did not require the bed to be modified. That is all I know. Yall have a good one.

My bus has been running superb. I put in the external thermostatic controlled oil cooler in early July and it has not gotten over 240 since , even on the big hills in August. I mounted it above the tranny out of site. Also no oil leaks, new tires. It pays to maintain. I am considering calling it the "521Bus" cause for awhile there last summer it seemed I spent 5 hours under the bus for every 1 hour enjoying it. (Not saying that laying flat under the bus admiring its undercarriage isn't enjoyable. : ) ) ratio 5:1 = 521. Get it?? I know, dumb but catchy. It did make it to Jackson Hole, Burningman and Jerome since mid July. almost 3,000 miles trouble free. Knock on wood, knock on wood. L8r Ken Wyatt 82 westy slc, ut
