Hey everyone, I checked the archives for this and came up blank...I hear a "click, clunk, crunch" as I am turning the steering wheel, mostly at low speeds or very sharp hairpin curves. It's not just once but continues if I keep turning the wheel sharper and sharper. I replaced upper control arm bushings a couple months ago and that didn't stop it...seems to be coming from under the gas pedal anyway rather than under the seat. I'm presuming it's the steering relay box. Bentley says this is non-serviceable/non-repairable. Is that for real and if so where's best source for a new one? how much? do these things go bad? any adjustments or stop gap measures to take before replacement? Anyway to make sure this is the problem before shelling our the beans for a new one? Secondly, why is the archive search so slow? Thirdly, with time to spend staring blankly at the screen during the archive search, has anyone notice that the EVC's really are damn ugly? Mark |
