Why not rent or borrow a full size pick up truck ( or a crass old American car with a V-8 and a tow hitch). Go over to U-Haul and rent a 4 wheel tow dolly. Then go get your van and tow it home. You can now take some time to find a good used engine (or a rusty northern van with a good engine to be used as a donor). These techniques should not be very costly and will allow you the opportunity to either fix your charming camper or sell it in a more leisurely (better deal for seller) fashion instead of as a forced liquidation. Good luck. Budd Premack 86 Syncro, 73 Super Minneapolis, MN (Land of Sky-Blue Waters) |
