While I didn't get a complete engine, I have purchased 2.1 wasser heads and a few other items from them for my 2.1 conversion project 2 years ago, all excellent stuff and service. Having the advantage of living 3 hours away from them, I was afforded the opportunity to receive a personal "nickel" tour of their facilities from Leonard and I arrived unannounced (OK, they knew a week in advance I was coming, but didn't say what day). So dang clean, you could eat off of any disassembly or assembly counter, even the floor for that matter. Seen first-hand each step/workstation of whatever component is worked on and the quality and attention is certainly is better than what I've seen at GEX (I grew up around the corner from GEX in the 70's) or at Mark Stephens. I have not had the pleasure/displeasure of dealing with FGA, so I can't give an opinion of them. But AVP's got my business anytime.
