In the german mag VW Speed, I saw an ad from a company called Tafel & co, and under a small header with wasserboxer engine components, they offered camshafts for wbx, hydraulic valvetrain, from stock to 310´ , made by Pauter. Has any of you heard of these cams, are the of good quality? The price is given to 289DM, which by norwegian prices are not so bad.(Regular custom parts for bugs are mostly double the US-price) They also offer K&N airfilters for 89,50DM for the 2,1 engines. This company has a representative in Cali.; Tafel-shop California c/o Ralf Sudorf 1658 Foothill Drive Vista CA 92084 Fax 760 599 0242 If anyone would check his or Pauters offerings, please do so, as I am not speaking english nor german very well. This is very interesting, as I feel my engine could use some more oomph, I have only 112 hp ;-) Another company - Tuning products, Ohsener Strasse 71a, D-31789 Hameln, tel. 0 51 51 95 95 00, fax 0 51 51 95 95 01(remember the Int'l country code) are offering adapter kits for VR6 and 1,9 TDI from 499DM> and clear front turn signal lenses for 179DM/pair(these are coming to my van soon) . These are the perfect addition to the ProjectZwo fog lights, or by themselves to make an all black/white appearance in the front of your Vanagon. OMG, I sound like a commersial :-o Bye, PerL |
