With the help of a couple of listees I have replaced most of the plastic parts required to keep the window glass on track and rolling up and down with the exception of one little plastic part. This is a square part that fits on the thingy that moves up and down with the twist of the crank. This square part fits into a rectangular cut out in the carrier assembly in which the window glass rests. This square part is what actually connects the crank assembly with the glass carrier assembly. If anyone knows where I can get one of these, or knows of some way to fabricate one, or can even give me some guidance on how to remove the thing I, and especially my wife (it's on the passengers side), would be very grateful. Thanks folks. David Higginbotham 82 Westfalia Raleigh, NC |
